Alive and Available

Tuesday, 2 July 2024

Good morning, Men of Honour! As we step into this new day, let us reflect on what it means to be both alive and available for God's miraculous works in our lives.

In 2 Corinthians 6:2 (NIV), we are reminded of the urgency of God's plans for us: "Now is the time of God's favour, now is the day of salvation." We might not know the specifics of God's timetable, but each day is a unique opportunity for change and miracles.

Often, we pass our days not realising that today might be the day God has chosen to manifest a life-changing miracle in our lives. To be part of this divine transformation, we must stay alert and ready.

Being alive is our first blessing, and it's a testament to the miracles already at work in us. Despite our challenges, whether it’s physical pain, personal struggles, or spiritual battles, we are still here. And as long as we are breathing, miracles are within reach.

Today, let’s strive to be available:

  • Alert: Look out for God’s hand at work around us.

  • Ready: Keep our hearts open and hands lifted in praise.

  • Excited: Anticipate with eagerness what God is going to do next.

Let’s live with that readiness, making ourselves available to receive the miracles God has in store.

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the gift of life and the potential each day holds. Help us to remain available, ready to receive Your blessings and miracles. Keep us alert to Your presence and excited for what You have planned for us. May we serve as vessels of Your will, honouring You in all that we do. Amen.
